Privacy Policy

What is stored

Your settings (which mods are on, your quick links, your playlist naming format, and which extra hide features Focus mode switches on) are saved in your browser using Chrome's extension storage (chrome.storage.local). They stay on your device. We never receive them.

What we don't do

• No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting.
• No advertising, and no tracking across sites.
• No accounts, and no servers that receive data from the extension.
• We never read your browsing history.

Permissions

• storage: to save your settings on your device.
• Access to www.youtube.com: to change how YouTube looks and to add the features you turn on. The extension does not run on any other site.

Requests to YouTube

Playlist features (Monthly playlist, Playlist stats, removing watched videos or duplicates) act on your own playlists by sending requests to youtube.com, using the session you're already signed in with, exactly as if you'd made the change yourself. To authorize those requests the extension uses your existing YouTube session: like YouTube's own site, it computes a hash of your YouTube session cookie in the page. That cookie and hash are used only for requests to youtube.com and are never stored or sent anywhere else. When you add a Quick link to a YouTube page, the extension may fetch that page's title from youtube.com to label it. Nothing is sent anywhere else.

Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We don't sell or transfer user data to third parties, use it for anything unrelated to the extension's single purpose, or use it for creditworthiness or lending.

This website

This site doesn't use cookies for tracking. Your light/dark preference is kept in your browser's local storage.
